Good day sweet prayer partners!
Grace and Peace to you from our LORD!
After almost two weeks in Guanajuato, progress has been made in several areas.
My VISA was rejected, because the Dept of Immigration lost my documents, which caused me to panic a bit. But after about 2 hours on the phone with various managers from Chase Morgan Bank they finally agreed to fax my banking records for the past 3 months (which is way outside what their policies allow) Glory to God because it was only His hand which moved the mountains. So back on track with the VISA but it will take an extra week for having to start over.
I have had 2 job interviews one in person at a school in San Miguel de Allende and one via telephone a school in Los Reyes de Michoacan about 3 hours by bus and pays about $300/ month for FT employment. The difference between the two is $1000/month and San Miguel would put me at home every night in my own bed, and not detract from the ministry. Please pray for the correct job for the ministry. Because our mission has no church or corporation backing I must work to support the ministry and myself.
I have been working diligently every day preparing for the new women's bible studies which will begin this coming week. On Thursday evenings at 6:30pm we will be studying through the book of Romans and learning more of how the LORD desires us to live. On Monday evenings at 6:30pm we will be studying through the book of Matthew (and the other gospels) to take an up close look at the life of Jesus Christ. We have a number of women who have come from strange religions and are really confused who Jesus is, this will serve more than anything as a clarification of HIS DEITY.
Be encouraged brethren, it won't be long now and He'll be coming for His Bride, be alert, be faithful, be pure!

Love in Christ,
Your Sister Cindy

Our Purpose

Six years ago, I returned from a year in Guanajuato in prayer for the people of Mexico. Especially for the millions of victims of domestic violence in Mexico, thousands who die every year because it has reached epidemic proportions and no one was doing anything to change it. The Bible tells us that "men ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church:"

Three and a half years ago, after three years of prayer and a dear missionary friend saying “God put it on YOUR HEART”, I sold everything packed my car and drove down to Guanajuato, without any BIG MISSIONS GROUP OR CHURCH supporting me and began the job of praying for a pastor and a place for us to begin. God had already provided the first domestic violence victims for me to begin work and so I began.

It has not been easy, in truth it has been one battle after another. Some battles came from unexpected places but Satan is a crafty enemy. The battle belongs to the LORD and I am not a person who quits or gives up easily. We found a pastor to lead our church and the women's outreach ministry has been a huge part of our church. There is a hunger for the truth that can only be filled with the WORD of GOD and the time I have spent in Guanajuato; hearts and minds have been changed, people have come to know GOD through His WORD and the knowledge that Jesus Christ is our ONLY way to get to God!

PRAYER REQUESTS:
  • That the LORD provide the perfect job that will sustain me while helping with all of the needs of this ministry.
  • For the health of the entire mission team in Guanajuato and their loved ones.
  • For the Holy Spirit to touch the hearts and minds of all the lost in Mexico and bring them closer to the harvest.
  • For financial provision until I find employment.
